Ada Byron Lovelace Day Celebration @ Tech Museum

Come celebrate Ada Lovelace Day and women in STEM at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose. Here is the schedule for the day:

10:00 am: Museum Opens, Welcome Address Junior League of Palo Alto/Mid-Peninsula, ARM, and The Tech

10:00 am - 3:30 pm: Drop-In Activities throughout UL and LL. All activities are free (with museum admission); stop by anytime!

10:30 am - 12:00 pm: Workshop Session 1 in Lower Level classrooms

All workshops are free (with museum admission), but have limited seating; first-come, first-served. Please refer to the topics and recommended ages below, and be prepared to stay for the entire 1.5-hour duration of the workshop.

12:00 pm - 12:45 pm: Session 1 Lunch with Women-in-STEM Role Models in New Venture Hall (ground level)

1:00 pm - 1:45 pm: Session 2 Lunch with Women-in-STEM Role Models in New Venture Hall (ground level)

2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Workshop Session 2 in in Lower Level classrooms

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Sophia Westwood, Keynote Speaker in New Venture Hall (ground level)

I will be giving a presentation on my illustration process and doing a drawing demo for Ada Byron Lovelace and the Thinking Machine at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
